The Nashville Beefsteak has been postponed and all guests have been reufnded. A future date will be announced soon. The Inaugural Nashville Beefsteak will take place on Thursday November 2, 2017 from 7 to 10 PM at the Von Elrod’s Beer Garden and Sausage House in Nashville, TN. Beefsteak: described as a feast of epic proportions is a concept from the 1920’s that generally was a political or charitable fundraiser. Generally guests would wear formal attire, but for the Nashville version we are suggesting cocktail attire for the evening, have fun with it! This modern take will feature various preparations of an entire steer from Bear Creek Farm (Leipers Fork, TN), whole roasted vegetables, house baked pretzel rolls, and snacks/dessert all made by an incredible lineup of chefs. Guests will be provided an apron and stein for beer to enjoy the feast, no napkins or silverware will be needed (or provided)! A portion of proceeds from the Nashville Beefsteak will be donated to the Martha O’Bryan Center to help feed families in need this holiday season.
Appetizer House made potato chips with smoked onion dip.
Main Course BEEF, it's what's for dinner plus various roasted vegetables. The participating chefs will be ultizing the entire steer to create unique preperations for you to enjoy, even the tounge!
Snacks and Sweets House made pull apart pretzel rolls perfect to sop up the juices of the beef or be a napkin. Giant cookies filled with Olive & Sinclair duck fat caramels and chocolate will end the evening.
Drinks All guests will receive a bottomless half liter stein thanks to Yazoo Brewing Company. We will offer 5 beers including a special Embrace the Funk beer just for the Nashville Beefsteak. We also will have a limited cash bar for select wine and spirits.
